Our mission
At our hotel, we believe that sustainability is not just a buzzword, but an integral part of our business operations. As a responsible hospitality provider, we take the protection of the environment seriously, and we are committed to supporting the local community and economy.
Our sustainability program encompasses various initiatives and practices aimed at reducing our carbon footprint, conserving energy and water, minimizing waste, and promoting environmental awareness among our guests and staff. We recognize that hotels are one of the major contributors to greenhouse gas emissions, and we strive to minimize our impact on the environment through our sustainable practices.
We believe that sustainability is not just a trend but a responsibility, and we invite our guests to join us in our efforts to protect the planet for future generations.
What we do
One of the key initiatives of our sustainability program is the use of renewable energy sources. We have installed solar panels to generate a significant portion of our electricity needs. As a result we are able to run our hot water system solar powered.
We offer filtered drinking water in reception and 2nd floor to refill and reuse water bottles to reduce plastic consumption.

We refill the in-room shower gel and shampoo bottles to reduce our dependence on plastic. The natural products are made by Les Artisans Lao, who use locally sourced ingredients and support local initiatives.
Wastage of food is separated for both composting and feeding small livestock at our local farm. Food waste and horse manure also feeds our in-house bio gas system. If fed daily we can make up to 6 hours of cooking gas a day. This technology helps us turning our food waste into clean energy.
Check out Home Bio Gas for more ideas of how to produce and use clean energy.
For guests staying more than one night, we launder sheets and towels every three days or when requested, rather than daily. Thanks to our guests participating in minimizing the requirements for fresh towels and linens, we are able to reduce both energy and water consumption and improve our environmental footprint.
